The DigitalPersona 4000B Fingerprint Reader has a rugged design to withstand the trials of everyday use, providing sturdiness unmatched by other sensors in the same price category. The sensor provides a light flicker to indicate that a finger has been placed on its surface, as on-board electronics control image capture, self-calibration, and image data encryption.
