How to Apply for a Learner Permit Online
1. Create an Account / Sign In
- Open the app or visit dlims.islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
- Register with CNIC, email, and mobile number.
- Enter OTP for verification.
2. Fill Out the Application
- Select “Apply for Learner Permit.”
- Enter details: Full name (as per CNIC), CNIC number, Date of Birth, Address, Contact info.
- Choose license category (Motor Car, Bike, etc.).
3. Upload Documents
- CNIC (front and back).
- Recent passport-size photo.
- Medical certificate signed/stamped by an authorized medical officer.
4. Pay the Fee Online
- Fee: Rs. 300–500 (subject to change).
- Pay via Easypaisa, JazzCash, Debit/Credit card, or Bank transfer.
5. Download Your Learner Permit
- Once approved, download the digital copy.
- Print the permit for use during road checks.
Eligibility for Islamabad Police Launches New Online Learners Permit App
- Must provide a valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Applicant must be 18 years or older.
- Permit validity: 6 months.
- Both male and female citizens can apply.
- After 6 months, learners may qualify for LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) or HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) licenses.
