  5. Deadline extended to October 7, 2025 for obtaining valid driving licenses.
  6. From October 8, 2025, strict enforcement will begin—drivers without licenses may face fines, arrests, or vehicle impoundment.

1. Create an Account / Sign In

  • Select “Apply for Learner Permit.”
  • Enter details: Full name (as per CNIC), CNIC number, Date of Birth, Address, Contact info.
  • Choose license category (Motor Car, Bike, etc.).

3. Upload Documents

  • CNIC (front and back).
  • Recent passport-size photo.
  • Medical certificate signed/stamped by an authorized medical officer.

4. Pay the Fee Online

  • Fee: Rs. 300–500 (subject to change).
  • Pay via Easypaisa, JazzCash, Debit/Credit card, or Bank transfer.

5. Download Your Learner Permit

  • Once approved, download the digital copy.

Eligibility for Islamabad Police Launches New Online Learners Permit App

  1. Must provide a valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
  2. Applicant must be 18 years or older.
  3. Permit validity: 6 months.
  4. Both male and female citizens can apply.
  5. After 6 months, learners may qualify for LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) or HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) licenses.
